I know this might be unhelpful, but the "good art schools get the good jobs" thing is a myth. I bought into it and man that shit's expensive. I work at one of the larger animation studios in LA and honestly most of the artists went to regular schools and others were self-taught. I was telling them about how much art school costs now and they were like "wow I feel bad for those kids there's no way" or laughing. really it's your work, and sadly, it's who you know. You're amazing, keep it up!!!!!

I KNOW I ALWAYS ASK FOR HELP but i really need your help this time AH.

I’m searching for an art school/university in California

I want to study illustration, i currently live in Mexico near USA, i need to apply for a school soon, but i have no information about a good art school out there, and less in a country that i don’t even live in.

But i really want to study in USA, but like i said, i don’t have any info, sure i have checked some unis and schools but i don’t know if i should trust them, i’m kinda paranoid about that, so if it’s not too much to ask, can you recommend me some?

Money is not problem, but i can’t enter to Calarts or that kind of expensive schools. But aside from that everything is ok.
